I know people clap for the fastest, the richest, the one who can sing and reach the highest note... But what again is life. Is it about performance? Is it about trying to rate people and compare who is the best and the brightest?
A great book I read lately commented: "One of the lousiest thing to do in life is to compare people..." Even for that matter compare yourself with others. It will go nowhere.
God has given us specific and unique roles in Life. Be grateful and live your life giving your best with what you have.
I am so impressed with the way the bible was written. It is full of ORDINARY people with an exception of some few ones who are "SUPER" humans. But even in the event of being a "SUPER" person, the bible makes it clear that it was God all along was the cause of their greatness.
When you feel so ORDINARY, just think of those men in the past who felt the same way. "Elijah, a man just like us", Peter who denies, Moses who lies and wants to quit even before starting, 3 hebrew boys, Daboy (who gave the bread to Jesus to Feed the 5000) and so much more.
How do we live now as ORDINARY PEOPLE:1. be thankful Whatever you have receive be grateful and use it to help others.
2. be willing to do great challenges Things you have never tried before, try it! Remember: You will pass on earth one time, you might as well give your best. Opportunity might not come back.
3. be willing to see God using you God loves to use ordinary people. He has no hang ups in making people great.
"Be willing and obedient and you will eat the best of the land"
4. be surrounded by ordinary people with an extra ordinary view of life Its all about connections and relationships. Success is a series of events done and achieved together! Don't believe the lie that you can do it alone.
Next time the enemy tries to convince you are a
nobody - tell him... "yup, I am a
nobody, but I know
somebody ----- who is interested to make me great!"
Thank God for Grace!
