What can we learn from Albert Einstein?
Many things.
1. Persistence and Stubborn Tenacity were Einstein's prime secretEveryone who disciples know that its not easy to follow up people. It takes effort to call, meet, talk in an interesting manner and engage the new believer. But its these small efforts that help establish a disciple.
I like this quotation:
"Constant dripping hollows out a stone." LucretiusNo disciple yet? Keep trying. Keep inviting. Keep showing up in your meetings. Keep believing. Even though their heart and mind are still unwilling, persistence will eventually help them overcome struggles and be Christlike.
2. Einstein connected and applied ideas with real life issues.Be practical. Listen and know the real problem before blabbing your opinions. Offer biblical with practical solutions to people you're ministering. Not confusion. Because many people talk without thinking, they miss to minister with sense and power.
Einstein succeed because he did many trials and experiments. Do the same. Experiment. Observe. Apply your ideas. Try. Connect your ideas with reality.
3. Einstein = Imagination.Fun eliminates struggles. If you desire to bear fruit, you must enjoy what you are doing. If you enjoy what you are doing probably even the most difficult situation can be turned into opportunity.
"Imagination is better than knowledge" Albert EinsteinThink possibilities. What if Pastor Rice insisted that Philippines was not a good place to plant churches? It would be a waste. 25,000 disciples in Victory are now going to be doing something else instead of loving God.
Einstein was curious. He played possibilities in his mind.
What would the Philippines be like if we have 2 million disciples in Victory, involved in business, media, arts, government, finance, science, military and education...
WHAT KIND OF PHILIPPINES WILL THIS BE?
Let's keep discipling.
Be persistent. Be Practical. Enjoy people. Imagine possibilities.
1Sam. 14:6 Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come... Perhaps the LORD will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.”
